A life-changing high school internship at HBO was the spark that ignited her passion for a seemingly out-of-reach industry and introduced her to the transformative power of mentorship.
After graduating college she went on to have a thriving career at HBO where she became an executive leading teams in launching streaming & On demand products bringing hit series like Sex and the City, Game of Thrones and Succession to digital audiences globally. Her success Forging pathways for other women of color to enter the media tech space.
But Ayana's true strength is her unwavering commitment to lifting as she climbs. Returning to mentor in the same program that empowered her, it ignited a fire to embolden the next generation of audacious leaders.
GOODSOCIAL is the culmination of that fire. It's an invitation to her vast network to join a movement. A movement to dismantle barriers, rewrite narratives, and ensure that underrepresented voices not only explore their talents, but ALSO GUIDED BY a COMMUNITY of unwavering support.
Ayana Serves on the Board of Urban Word and co-produces the Black Girl Magic Ball. She resides in NYC when not living outside of a suitcase exploring the world.
